tl;dr
The Story Itself
- Since I'm reading events in reverse order, I realize they might have attempted to give all anniversary events a unifying theme that they inadvertently abandoned on the 5th. Liberate the Eden is still shit, but I think anniversaries event are better off without adhering to a single theme.
- Beginning: The slow set up is done incredibly well. Lots of foreshadowing that pays off painfully. As a Kokkbro, it was absolutely agonizing to go through, in a good way.
- Middle: Here, Kokkoro tries to figure out what's happening to her. The loredump here is kinda boring, but Pecorine's and Yui's performances as supporting characters are amazing.
- End: While not explicitly stated, the way Kokkoro deals with the Blackwind Spirit is foreshadowed since the beginning.
Difficulty
- Really easy. A little bit of hiccup on the loredump part, but even with the harsher scoring criteria I imposed to myself, still got 100%.
Translation Differences
- Wildly different.
- I also discuss how Kokkoro's catchphrase "from cradle to the grave" is translated. The Dears event revealed the actual intention.
The Story Itself
Theme overlap with Re:member
The story starts with Gourmet Guild doing some basic monster hunting quests. They have an easy time with it and got careless, KSKN took a blow and Kokkoro unknowingly channels a spirit she didn't remember making a pact with. This spirit turns out to be really powerful and Kokkoro took down the monster by herself.

Sounds familiar? Getting a sudden burst of power from the desire to protect someone...this is just like what happened with KSKN with Overload Force. And just like Overload Force, this spirit's power doesn't come without a cost. Overload Force's power comes at the cost of being excruciatingly painful for the receiver, and it being uncontrollable and forceful (heh) for the giver. As for Blackwind Spirit...hmm, I wanted to say something here, but I forgot. Who was I talking about again? Ah, don't cry, Kokkoro...I was just joking.
The agonizing set-up
Prologue
They REALLY had to open the story with Kokkoro feeling grateful to be with Gourmet Guild. I JUST knew the fact that this was highlighted means it'll be taken away from her. When I read this part, I went "oh no..." immediately.

I already read a short translated tl;dr back in EN, so I know about what's gonna happen to Kokkoro, but it was a great choice to include this in. The audience needs to be aware the how Kokkoro views Gourmet Guild in the first place. She cherishes being in Gourmet Guild, with this knowledge, what happens to her next will actually have an impact on both Kokkoro and the audience. You only feel sad if you lose something that you perceive as valuable, after all.
Moving, on, right after channeling Blackwind Spirit and beating the monster, Kyaru comments that Kokkoro could go on quests alone if she's going to carry the party this hard.

Does she know...? This foreshadows that Kokkoro will eventually go on a quest on her own.
After beating the monster, Pecorine proceeds to cook the monster. It was the reason why Karin specifically called Gourmet Guild actually. Kyaru complained why they couldn't just let Nightmare handle it, Karin explained that it was because this monster is a delicacy.
So, the monster is done cooking, and Pecorine sets up the table...only to forget to give a plate to Kokkoro.

But no worries, right? Surely Pecorine just forgot because cooking a large monster is tiring, right? Haha... More foreshadowing here. This one foreshadows why she will go in said quest in the first place.
And that's the prologue. Foreshadowing, foreshadowing and more foreshadowing. It's as if the story is planting seeds in hopes for it to slowly bloom later. The first time someone seem to forget Kokkoro was played for laughs. Sadly for Kokkoro, it only gets worse from here on out...
Episode 1
The following day, Kyaru feels lethargic. Is it exhaustion, or is it food poisoning from the monster food the previous day? The episode starts on a cheerful note as Kyaru throws her usual morning tantrum. The gang plans to call a doctor to check Kyaru out, but before that, Kokkoro decides to use her healing magic to tide her over in the meantime. And then...

Blackwind Spirit shows up again. And it seems her healing magic is doing the opposite of healing as Kyaru writhes in pain. In her daze, Kyaru goes...

"Who...?"
Surely, this is because Kyaru is just tired right? Nope. A few lines before this, Kyaru clearly called Kokkoro Korosuke. From here, the audience should be able to deduce that this forgetfulness is indeed caused by the spirit.
Kokkoro and KSKN go out to the market to get ingredients for breakfast. They go to the usual stands and...
All of them seem to have forgotten Kokkoro.
Kokkoro starts to get restless here. She sends KSKN home alone with the ingredients so she can look around town to see if more people have forgotten. Forgotten, forgotten, forgotten.
And here comes the kicker...

"Are you a new member (of Gourmet Guild?)"
Karin also forgot about her. Karin, the Guild Association manager, the one that's supposed to keep track all things guild related, forgot about a member of the guild that she often sends out on quests. Karin eventually remembers, but at this point, Kokkoro is already freaking the fuck out. She runs off.
She arrives at the Gourmet Guild guildhouse, and the first thing she asks if Pecorine has forgotten about her as well. Pecorine calls Kokkoro by her name reassures her that whatever Kokkoro is going through, she'll always have her friends backing her up.

And that's the first episode. You don't really learn anything new here. All the story does now is water the seeds of foreshadowing it has planted in the beginning. And it will continue to do so until the wretched vines of this plant are strong enough to suffocate you.
Episode 2
Second episode. Kokkoro explains her situation to the gang. Kyaru comments that it was normal for those random shopkeepers to forget her, but not normal for Karin of all people to do so. As they talk, Pecorine seems to be unusually quiet, and it turns out Kokkoro's situation remind her of her own when Kaiser Insight usurped the throne.
Kokkoro summons Blackwind Spirit to let the others see. Kyaru starts to feel pain again. Kokkoro starts to worry about Kyaru, but Kyaru tells her to worry about herself since being forgotten is clearly the bigger deal here.
Now that the gang knows that the cause of all this is the spirit, they try think of another spirit user they can consult to. They think of Yui and decide to visit their guildhouse. Of course...

"No, don't worry about it. Um, and you are...?"
At this point, the plant is probably as tall as you. Even Kyaru is all "damn, she might really get forgotten now".

It turns out that Twinkle Wish got a request to investigate strange occurrences at the outskirts of Landosol. Kyaru thinks that it probably has something to do with spirits because spirits are the rulers of natures and all that. If the spirits start acting weird, so will the nature around it.
They start their investigation and run into an enraged monster. Whether that's caused by the spirits or not is left unclear.

They try to beat it and start jobbing because they're a man down since Kokkoro can't use her spirit powers because it'd just summon the Blackwind Spirit again. The jobbing starts to get serious and Kokkoro decides to jump in. The Blackwind Spirit shows up again, and Kokkoro one shots the monster.
Even after that, the spirit persists and starts to cause pain to Pecorine and Kyaru. Kokkoro starts begging for it to stop. It eventually stops, but at this point, the writing is on the wall: Kokkoro's presence cause other pain. The plant grows ever larger.
Episode 3
Third episode. This is the turning point of the story. Kokkoro wanders around the town, and once again, the shopkeeper she's talking to doesn't seem to remember her. It's a repeat of the first episode, but what makes this part creepy is that the BGM is distorted. It's like in the song "It's just a burning memory". The entire album that song is from is supposed to simulate the feeling of slowly succumbing to dementia, so it fits, since this story is all about being forgotten.
Kokkoro runs off and freaks out again, she starts begging for answers into the air. Thankfully, someone answers. It's Ameth. Unfortunately, even Ameth doesn't know what's going on.

Kokkoro decided she has had enough and decided to leave to prevent further pain to her friends. She goes back home to have one final meal before leaving.
Before leaving, she says goodbye to KSKN and leaves behind her hair ornament behind. So that there'll be at least some trace of her when they inevitably forget her.

Episode 4
Fourth episode. The gang notices that Kokkoro is gone in the morning. They immediately start searching for her. Kyaru asks around the market, no one knows who Kokkoro is. Pecorine asks around the town square, no one knows who Kokkoro is.
KSKN asks Twinkle Wish. No one knows who Kokkoro is.
They gather back in the guildhouse to pool their results, since no one was able to find anything about Kokkoro, they start searching outside of Landosol. Pecorine here is particularly desperate to find her, always calling her out in each area.
Eventually, they find themselves back in Landosol outskirts. It's now raining and everyone is exhausted. Kyaru starts to forget what they were looking for in the first place. Pecorine keeps urging the gang to stay strong and keep remembering. Sadly, the exhaustion kicks in, she faints.
The next morning starts out cheerfully despite what happened the day before. Seems like Kokkoro is now completely gone from their memories...or is she? Pecorine accidentally set up four plates when preparing breakfast. Kyaru jokes if Pecorine is trying to get more portion for herself. Before breakfast, Pecorine asks Kyaru to go get some groceries after breakfast. Kyaru complains why she gets chosen. While Pecorine tells her it's because she has to do laundry, the story is trying to tell you here that this is something Kokkoro usually does. Things look bright so far and they eat breakfast.
After breakfast, KSKN has some food left on his cheek. Kyaru offers to clean it up...before wondering why she's even offering. Once again, this is because Kokkoro usually handles it.
And this is where KSKN shows the hair ornament to everyone. Pecorine starts tearing up when she holds it. She doesn't know why, she just feels sad when she sees it.
The episode ends with this...

"Who...?"
Pressing this was the hardest challenge of reading this event. The plant has fully grown. Will Kokkoro be strong enough to chop it down?
Episode 5
The final episode of the first part. Nothing much happens here, since Kokkoro is travelling towards the Elven Village. Although this doesn't stop the story from trying to hammer down just how alone Kokkoro is now.
During the morning, Kokkoro goes "ah, bishokuden must be having breakfast by now"
During the afternoon, Kokkoro goes "ah, bishokuden must be getting ready for the day by now"
During the night, Kokkoro goes "ah, bishokuden must be getting ready for bed by now"
She goes full "don't cry because it's over be happy because it happened" here.

Overall thoughts on the first part
Goodness...this was so hard to go through.. Although that's definitely the intention here.
I mostly want to talk about Pecorine and Kyaru here, you probably already know how I feel about this event putting Kokkoro through this if you've read this far.
I really liked how the story related Kokkoro's situation with Pecorine's character arc in Arc 1 of the main story. It made Pecorine's desperation when looking around for Kokkoro feel real.
I dislike Kyaru, but I must give it to her here. I liked how she prioritized Kokkoro even though she herself was in pain. I also like how she got serious when she realized Kokkoro's situation was very real. Unfortunately, she's relegated to combat support on the second part of the event, but I think that's because they're trying to give some screentime to Yui. Also, while I'm at it, Rei and Hiyori are definitely the weakest here. Only here because Yui is here and really only helping out during combats. More on Yui later.
There's significantly less to talk about on the second part of the event. I also kinda disliked how I pretty much explained the entirety of the first part episode by episode, but I feel like I had to because of the structure of this story. Always so much to talk about during anniversary events. Again, not a bad thing, but I want people to read the story themselves and not rely on my blogposts.
The middle
The first thing Kokkoro tries to do upon arriving in the Elven Village is to find her dad. The villager there tells her that he's away to do some research. Normally, I'd write this off as the story trying not to reveal him to soon...but since I've read Dive Astrum, this line can be seen in a whole different way.

The elven woman specifically states that Sora is away to do some research regarding the spirits. In Dive Astrum, it is stated that Sora was the one who designed the Blackwind Spirit boss. Put the two together and...is Sora away specifically to make the spirit go after her because he wanted to test her? Probably not because the actual cause of a spirit going crazy is explained later in the story, but I've got a strong feeling that he's watching, or at least aware that his daughter is going through some shit.
The Blackwind Spirit suddenly appears before Kokkoro, now looking ginormous. Kokkoro starts feeling the power well up and faints. The camera now pans over to Gourmet Guild, still in Landosol. They talk about how they're somehow feeling lonely even though things seem to be fine. They decide to go an event, wanting to have fun with all 4 members of Gourmet Guild. Wait...4 members? Another instance showing that Kokkoro is still somewhere in there in their memories.
They run into Karin and promptly receive a request from her to visit the Elven Village. While she can't be certain that the cause of the monsters acting funny around Landosol is because the spirits, it's the best place to start looking because spirits = nature = monsters. Gourmet Guild departs from Landosol and on the way there, they encounter the Blackwind Spirit. The fight and job because KSKN can't use his PK powers. They retreat, and as they are about to give up and return to Landosol, they notice they're pretty much at the doorstep of the village already.
After some sightseeing, Gourmet Guild enters the Spirit Temple and encounter...Kokkoro! Kokkoro wonders if they're here because they finally remember, and...

"Nice to meet you!"
No, of course not.
Pecorine notices that Kokkoro seem to be down and invites her to eat together. Kokkoro declines, saying that strangers don't usually share a table. Pecorine then asks Kokkoro for her name...only for Kokkoro to tell them to fuck off.

Kyaru gets pissed, and as much as I dislike her, she's justified here. But...I can't really blame Kokkoro here either. I'll acknowledge that she acted rather, no, VERY coldly here, but considering her situation, does she have any other choice if she doesn't want to cause anymore pain? Just a very sad situation for all parties involved. Also, going a bit off topic a bit here, this line was posted several times during the first few months of EN EoS. I thought Kokkoro was saying this line to the Blackwind Spirit...imagine my surprise when turns out this line was directed towards her friends...
They leave and talk about a little bit about what just happened. Here, Pecorine remembers that someone else gave her the nickname Pecorine. She doesn't remember who, she just knows that she didn't start calling herself Pecorine. Yet another instance of this, there's plenty, huh? Then, they ask the Elven woman what's up with that girl in the temple. She tells them that Kokkoro is being influenced by the big spirit's power. Pecorine, being Pecorine immediately draws the conclusion that beat bad spirit = little girl okay = can eat together. Kyaru decides to go along with her since it's part of the request anyway.
The following morning, Gourmet Guild visits Kokkoro again. Kokkoro notices there are some wounds on the gang. Kokkoro uses her handmade balms to treat Pecorine. As for Kyaru, most of the damage is not physical because she's a magic user. Kokkoro tries to heal her with magic...but the Blackwind Spirit decides to show its ugly rear here. Luckily, Twinkle Wish arrives just in time, Yui immediately took action and calmed things down.
Gourmet Guild and Twinkle Wish decided to split up and gather info. They find nothing, until Yui notices a book on the altar. Inside is all things spirit. Loredump time! They eventually find about how Blackwind Spirits are formed. Every few hundred years, some spirits evolve. However this process is mentioned as something like "reverses existence by sucking up mana", and while not explicitly mentioned, this is probably why people are forgetting about Kokkoro. In order to stop it, a ceremony must be held to appease it. Should you be successful, you will receive its approval back and be even more in tune with nature, but should you fail...

Your soul will be lost to the world.
So, they prepare for the ceremony, Kokkoro and Yui changed into ceremonial outfits. Cue some fanservice where the others character all go "yass you go girls!". Once again, Gourmet Guild tries to get closer to Kokkoro, to no avail. This time, Yui notices and decides to go after Kokkoro.
Yui asks if Kokkoro is doing fine, which she is, thanks to Yui's healing. Yui asks a follow up question...

"How about your heart?"
The reason why I like this part so much it's because Yui simply cuts to the chase here. Maybe if were as direct to KSKN, she'd be with him already. (Joking, I know about the confession scene.)
With this simple question, things just started to...pour down from Kokkoro. Kokkoro still hides behind "just hypothetically, what if someone..." when telling Yui about her situation, but other than that, it's pretty much 1:1 to her own situation. Then, Kokkoro asks Yui to imagine herself in the shoes of the girl in Kokkoro's story.
Yui answers that she can't fathom being in such a situation, and that she'd cry and cry more if she were ever in the same situation. However, she then tries to see the story from the perspective of the forgetters. She says that even though they don't know know who you are and you're hurting them, they won't hate you, and will at worst, simply wish you happiness.
Which is true, Gourmet Guild tried again and again to invite Kokkoro to eat with them, despite them already knowing that being with Kokkoro hurts them when Kokkoro tried to heal Kyaru.
Kokkoro thanks Yui for listening to her ramblings and resolves to be successful in the ceremony together.
The end
The night before the ceremony, Kokkoro feels scared despite having prepared already. She remembers she haven't dinner and being hungry would surely intervere with the ceremony the following but, but she doesn't feel any appetite. She remembers that this is usually when Pecorine would come in and scold her to always have 3 meals a day.
Then, Gourmet Guild barges in and gives her some porridge that KSKN also helped make. Pecorine goes...

Hey, it actually happened!
KSKN spoonfeeds her and Kokkoro is immediately taken aback by the warmth. Kokkoro realizes that she'll get to have this back if she's successful with the ceremony. Kokkoro wonders if it's okay to get her hopes up l like this, but now, she thinks that the reward of succeeding outweighs the risk of failing.

Day of the ceremony. Gourmet Guild and Twinkle Wish splits up, the former goes after the spirit and the latter holds down the fort. This is a very obvious attempt by the writers to give Gourmet Guild all the spotlight, but I think way of doing it makes sense. As Pecorine put it, the nature around them will surely get funky once the fighting starts.
And she's right. As Gourmet Guild engages Blackwind Spirit, monsters start approaching the village. Now Twinkle Wish realizes that splitting up was the correct choice.
Blackwind Spirit seem to be really bulky. All of Gourmet Guild's attacks don't seem to work, until they notice that hitting the same spot again and again works. Looking at how hard Pecorine and Kyaru fight, Kokkoro starts feeling the pressure to pull her own weight, and starts trying to channel her spirit. Pecorine and Kyaru start feeling the pain again, but they tell Kokkoro not to worry and to just keep doing her thing. KSKN tells her to believe in them and then...

Kokkoro accidentally calls KSKN Aruji-sama. Kyaru chimes in and says that calling KSKN Aruji-sama doesn't fit either of them and tells her to call him Onii-chan instead. This is a pretty insignificant part of the story, but I wanted to bring this up because it reassures me that slipping some humor to lighten the mood a little even during the climax of a story is okay and doesn't ruin the tone the pace or anything like that. Just make it quick.
Have I mentoned that the Blackwind Spirit is really bulky? Now that the fight is dragging out, the gang starts to get tired. They start jobbing and while they start to brace for impact, the Blackwind Spirit starts heading for the village after all. Yui is doing all she can to keep the village protected, but Kokkoro knows that everyone is about to reach their limits already.
The ceremony is a bust. Better to resign now and only lose Kokkoro than to keep going and get everyone killed. Kokkoro approaches the spirit and almost lets herself inside...
Meanwhile in Sol Tower, Ameth is fervently praying so that KSKN remembers Kokkoro through their bonds...and he does!

The presentation of this scene is so fucking cool, I'm a sucker for these meta-fuckery using the game's UI. This scene is similar to that time in Dive Astrum where your input is rejected because you were witnessing Sumika's dream and not your own.
KSKN drags Kokkoro out of Blackwind Spirit and now they're finally back in the fight. Despite now doing better thanks to KSKN getting his PK powers back, Blackwind Spirit is STILL very bulky. Kokkoro asks Pecorine and Kyaru to stand down because she's figured out why the spirit is thrashing about. The spirit isn't pissed off because it wants to be pissed off. It does so because no one seems to understand it. Kokkoro offers her hand to the spirit and asks it if it wants to "walk together" again. The spirit accepts, and returns to being a normal sized spirit.

With the spirit dealt with, everyone is exhausted and promptly passes out on the spot. The story ends with a call-back to the first scene of the game...

Overall thoughts on the middle and the end
The tl;dr on the top of this post already covers pretty much everything I want to talk about the middle. I liked Pecorine because her situation in arc 1 relates to Kokkoro's situation here. I liked Yui because she's being very direct. I should also mention that I also kinda liked Kyaru as a whole, her reaction made it so that Kokkoro acting like a cunt (even justified) didn't go unpunished.
As for the ending, I think the biggest hint the story gave in the beginning is that Kokkoro didn't remember making a pact with the spirit that eventually became Blackwind Spirit. Didn't remember...sound familiar?
How did Kokkoro appease the spirit at last? By offering her hand to the spirit.
What had Gourmet Guild been doing the entire event? Offering their hands to Kokkoro, even though they didn't remember.
So...I think the "point" of the story is that Kokkoro learned to offer her hand to something that she didn't remember she knew. MAN this entire story is such a roundabout way to deliver this message, lol. There's probably a story with less stakes you can write to deliver the same message, but they really had to go all out here, huh. This isn't meant as a jab to the story, one of the point of reading a story is to try to figure out the message, after all. And if you simply spelled out the message, that wouldn't make for such an engaging story now would it.
Overall thoughts on the entire event
As a Kokkbro, I have no criticism, really. It's the perfect Kokkoro event, what else is there to say?
For me to say anything remotely negative about this event, I'd need to see things through the lens of a non-Kokkbro. So...let's do exactly just that!
First, for an anniversary event, it involves Gourmet Guild again. Of course, it's only natural for Gourmet Guild to take the stage considering this is Priconne's first event that's explicitly labeled as an anniversary story, but the event right before this one was a Gourmet Guild NY event. Some people would complain about Gourmet Guild hogging the spotlight, and they'd be justified to think so.
Second, while I enjoyed the absolutely agonizing set up, I'm not sure a non-Kokkbro would enjoy it as much. "Who the fuck is this and why should I care about her", they might say. The story has done its best to make you care about Kokkoro by showing you that what being taken away from Kokkoro is something precious to her. If after going through that someone STILL doesn't care about Kokkoro, than that simply means the that person has shit tastes or has zero media literacy.
...And that's it! The fact that the only bad things I can say about the event are "it's gourmet guild again" and "people might not care about Kokkoro" should speak volumes about how well written this event in general.
Difficulty
The reason why I didn't read this right away when I made to jump to JP was because I still had 0 knowledge on Japanese that time. And I figured I wouldn't have learned anything anyway with tears blocking my view.
And now that I've finally read this event...safe to say I overprepared lol. There are times where I unconsciously clicked to advance the dialogue before the voice clip finished playing out because it's both easy to and I was really eager to find out what happens next.
I had to reread a few times when the lore dump part came, but I still managed to recall at least one word from all of those, so I count those as understood. And mostly because it was somewhat boring.
I was distracted by Labyrinth too when I was reading this event. There was one day where I almost forgot to do my reps because I was still figuring out how to clear difficulty 5...to think that the thing that made me almost break my streak was me having too much fun and not something like burning out. Definitely a good sign, though, I guess.

Translation Differences
Event title's official EN translation
I think this is the first time an event title is translated so wildly differently that I thought it was handled by 8-4.
As I mentioned before, I read a translated tl;dr back during EN. The tl;dr is this from this YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7k6QVitDqq_TXxSIaiPxcg/community?lb=UgxTbJTllbi4_PQhafV4AaABCQ
Feel free to cross-check my own tl;dr with his. There are some minor discrepancies now that I see, but even if I get things wrong, I already mostly understood the event. Speaking of, where did this guy go? I hope he just quit and didn't, you know, die.
This guy translated the title as "Connecting Bonds, Linking Hearts", nothing wrong with this. Another interpretation is "Bonds, Connected; Hearts, Tied" by the sexist Kokkoro fan that got fired from the EN patch team. It's more or less the same thing, just in a different tense.
As for the EN title itself, the words "distant" and "cherished" are nowhere in the JP title. The words "bonds" and "heart" are in both versions, at least.
I also want to talk a little bit about how the ED song name got translated. The JP title is "心想い ~ココロオモイ~". The kanjis are just the words "heart" and "thoughts" crammed together. The katakana is the exact same as the kanji, just written in katakana.
The official translation for this is "From the Heart". The word "thoughts" just went poof. Usually, people just straight up say Kokoro Omoi when referring to this song, and I wouldn't blame them. If an author straight up gives the readings of something, it's usually better to keep it as is. Translating those is how you end up with shit like Walnut, Sizzle and Sparrow.
Kokkoro's catchphrase
This is Kokkoro's catchphrase. I say catchphrase because she likes saying it whenever she's trying to express just how devoted she is to KSKN.

Of note is "おはようからおやすみまで", which simply means "from good morning until good night". It got translated into "from the cradle to the grave" which is WAY off. This is consistent across collabs, so this means this is 100% Cygames' direction and not some Crunchyroll fuckery.

This is the line in World Flipper EN. As you can see, the "from the cradle to the grave" line is there as well. Wait a second...but before that, there's "from sunup until sundown", which sounds like a proper translation of "from good morning until good night".
As it turns out...the "from the cradle to the grave" got backported into the JP line in World Flipper in JP! Here it is in World Flipper JP:

All the words here are super common except for the words cradle and grave, so here they are if you wanna look them up on your own: 揺籠, 棺桶
棺桶 is closer in meaning to coffin/casket, but it more or less means the same thing. Kokkoro will take care of (You) until you die.
As for my own thoughts on this localization, I think it amplifies the impact of the line by a LOT. It went from "i will take care of you all day, every day" into "i will take care of you until the day you die". They both mean the same thing, but one is way more extreme than the other. Sadly, it is also, simply put, inaccurate.
This is the first time I've seen an EN translation liberty getting backported into the JP version in a game that I actually care about. The only other case I've heard is FF16, where the JP team continuously adjusted the JP script to the EN script during its development. No, I haven't played FF16, I just read discussions off of /v/. Yes, I browse /v/ sometimes, I'm sorry.
But...what about Priconne JP? You know, the game that's actually still alive? Has Kokkoro used this catchphrase recently and did it include the "cradle to the grave part"? The last time she used it was in the Dears event.

She starts off with the "from good morning until good night" and clarifies it with "from the time he brushes his teeth until the time i lull him to sleep".
So, there you have it. "from cradle to the grave" isn't canon, at least as far as Priconne canon is concerned. I wonder why or how it got into World Flipper, though.
And that should be everything for this blogpost. See ya on the next one.

Kokkoro is a better artist than me wtf!?
