Just finished the Happy Happening event.

Nothing much to say here, it's a pretty bog-standard Christmas story. I still very much enjoyed it, though. One interesting thing here is that the twin demons aren't the main characters here, it's the angel twins. Now, you may know what I'm about to say, but I actually liked the justification they gave. As Akari put it, she and Yori are the "senpais in being twins", so I guess it's natural for them to help out fellow twins. The demon twins do have their own arc here (Yori trying to invite (You) to game, Akari encouraging her but getting jealous, only to also get invited anyways), but the focus was still on the twin angels. Also, I don't like how Jun kinda fucked off after getting her x-mas outfit, but she made a very strong return in the later episodes. As Yori put it, "what a sight".

This event was VERY easy to get through. Starts out short, lighthearted premise, characters with simple speech. The later episodes do get a bit longer, but the simple speech patterns made it a breeze anyways. If you're starting out, I definitely recommend reading this event. One thing though, I once misunderstood Akari when she said onee-chan, I thought she was referring to herself since she usually refers to herself in 3rd person. I forgot that Yori was supposed to be the older one...

Next up, the Naschkatze event. Looks like another simple SoL event. I'll go catch up with the main story first, though.
