Just finished reading the TSKot event.

Despite my disdain for Kyaru, I still more or less enjoyed the story.

I think it was neat that Kyaru got humbled several times here, first when she thought berserkers couldn't be magicians. And second, when she ranted about the delinquent student, only for Suzuna to say, "it's as if you're talking about yourself".

Kyaru's interactions with the NPCs were enjoyable, but that's the problem. I'm fine with the homeroom and the class president, but I felt the delinquent student took too much focus, I wish he was replaced by an actual character. I wonder who could pass as a delinquent in our cast? It can't be Chloe because she's already in another school, and she had many events already. So, I guess Kaya? She looks scary and she fights all the time. Basically, similar issue to the anime S2.

Another issue is that there's a case of "tell, don't show" here, it's inevitable in VNs, but I found the fact that they didn't show the group playing ping-pong particularly egregious. Eriko said that she lost because her yukata was too tight around her gargantuan tits. C'mon, you can't just mention that casually and not show us!

In terms of difficulty to read, it was pretty easy because of the rather relatable setting. The things that filtered me was when Kyaru asked her classmates question to gauge their smarts, and her graduation speech. Although the latter not too much, I already knew the words, it was just...overwhelming I guess?

Next up would be reading the SRanpha event, but since they just added more to the main story, I'll take a short detour first. Judging from the discussions so far, more Kyaru awaits, so uh, guess I'll do my best.
