Just finished the Criminal Rookies event.

Really enjoyable story. In storytelling, I value character interaction the most, and this event story delivered just that. Putting a newly introduced guild in a situation where they have to interact with other, established guilds was, in my opinion, the best way to "ease" them into the game's overall narrative. No complains here. I was going to complain that they didn't really show, but only tell some of the guild they helped (Forestier, Little Lyrical, Twilight Caravan), but Altar Maidens' journal covered that.

It was a pretty easy read, other than...Misora. She uses katakana on really common words like 時. That one I managed just fine, but that one time she used ミナゴロシ instead of 皆殺し threw me off. This word was new to me, but had she just used the kanji, I would've guessed it because it's just the kanji for everyone + kill and し. Hey, everyone + kill = massacre. Huh, Japanese is pretty intuitive...sometimes.

Next up is the SNeneka event. There's Yuckari, a character I dislike, but at least she isn't the main focus of the event.
