Just finished the Crybaby event.

It was an enjoyable read. I liked the conflict between Peco and Creditta, and I think the highlight was Creditta going "my duty is to protect you from anything, including yourself". Someone said her character developed here, but I feel like I didn't really catch it. However, this is because this event is my second exposure to Creditta, the first being the side story where Karin turns into a mascot. Not the story's fault, I just don't have a frame of reference.

Someone said that this event was long...and boy was he right. Usually, a long episode is followed by a shorter one. However, this event knows no such mercy. Every single episode that wasn't the prologue and epilogue was long. I don't have any problem with longer stories, but it does suck when you need to head out and you check the scrollbar to see your progress, only to find you are barely halfway through. I still managed to read an episode a day, so I guess I did decently.

Other than that, the event was generally easy to go through. Some moments like the secretary's sarcasm and the agents' infodumb on the baby's true baby stumped me a bit, but I prevailed. However, one advent calendar filtered me: the one with Mahiru. Creditta talked about profits and Mahiru, her puns. What an unfortunate combination.

Next up, the GBF collab. Back then, I really wanted to get excited for this event, but EN EoS was still too soon and my thoughts were still all over the place. Well, better late than never.
